* The Bill Bryant Show was originally on WDTV. He had a variety show from 1952?1959 and Johnny Costa was a staff musician. This station eventually became KDKA-TV. At first the show was on at 9 a.m. am then came on later at 1 p.m. Artists that came into the Pittsburgh such as Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and Johnny Mathas.were invited to the Bill Bryant Show. Johnny played with the greatest names.
* Bill Bryant will provide us with memorabilia from The Bill 'Bryant Show, including advertisements, pictures and write-up. Another special guest at our meeting was Fabo, a classmate of Johnny Costa and neighbor of Bill Bryant in Monroeville. Fabo grew up with Johnny and knew stories and information that was very valuable to us. He also gave us a connection to Johnny Costa CD's which Pat Condelli will follow up on. We hope to learn some funny stories and record Fabo (if he'll let us) of growing up with Johnny in Arnold.
* The Tech?Ed teacher, Mr. Cignetti, gave a report on the display boards. We had a discussion. Pat Condelli brought in a Tri-panel photo screen advertisement which displays 15 photos for $29.99. After our discussion, the group decided the price was right for the $29.99 to initiate our displays with these reasonable Tri-panel screens. Mrs. Greco will purchase two of these this week.
* In the meantime, we are asking Mr. Cignett i:f he and his classes will make a prototype 3x 4 plexiglass panel which will stand and display two sides for the final museum. Zach Chakan and Greg Baker will approach area business with a letter from the school district discussing the Johnny Costa project.
* Nov. 22, there will be no Music Monday. We are going to Rivers of Steel for research. Next Music Monday will be ' December 6th.
