Items Discussed:

* Kelly Moore and Jessica Langer were in charge of today’s meeting

* Kelly and Jessica welcomed our guests and announced that TODAY IS THE LAST MUSIC MONDAY
OF THE YEAR.

* Maria McCalister (in a telephone conversation) invited one parent (free) to be a special guest with students
at the first Johnny Costa fundraiser on June 15, 2000 at Hillcrest Country Club. Marie said that Pam Moses
would have the tickets for the fundraiser.

* Pat Condelli emailed details of community days in New Kensington for students and also the press release
or the first Johnny Costa Fundraiser on June 15th.

* Jen Pallone reported on the display boards. Anne, Alice and Buddy gave us many good ideas of places
to display them: VFW, Elks, Clarion Inn, Bingo spots, etc. Jen and her team will work on scheduling
these places on her calendar.

* Mary Ann Justham said that the “Costa Kids” may be ready for June 6 celebration, but all members
need to be present to practice. She has the purple tee shirts costumes for the members.

* Mrs. Greco and Juliet Drennan will meet with the students at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24th to write
next year's grant.

* Mrs. Greco discussed possibilities for the June 6th end-of-the-ear celebration for the Johnny Costa Project:
The “Costa Kids” could sing, “ everyone could wear their shirts and we could take photos of the whole team
for the website, invite all parents of students involved.We could decorate, everyone could bring a snack for a
sharing table, display all of our music boards, invite the entire Music Monday guest list and have students be
in charge.

* Alice Callahan, completed laminations for the KIDS RECOGNIZE MUSIC Display Boards and we
thanked her.

* SPECIAL INVITATION: YOU’RE INVITED TO THE END-OF-THE-YEAR CELEBRATION
OF THE JOHNNY COSTA PROJECT. TUESDAY, JUNE. 6 , 2,000 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in
the Valley Middle School Cafeteria.
